I think more people should learn how to memorize and type. At the office, people would be completely useless without Outlook’s shortcut to the contacts list with the “To:” button. Is it really that hard to remember someone’s name? I’ve told everyone numerous times that there are 5 to 10 combinations of everyone’s names that will work then add an @ and the domain name.
And with web site addresses they bookmark things like our main web site, it’s only 10 characters and a .com that you need to know, and you know it, so how slow do you type that you need to have a bookmark for it? If you type that slow, maybe you shouldn’t have a computer, maybe you should have a type-writer until you’ve improved your typing skills enough to earn your computer privileges.
