It’s puppy day!!!! I can’t wait, I’m so excited, AND to top it all off, they run this contest on 102.1 The Edge where they play a clip from a movie and you have to guess what movie it is. As soon as I heard it I knew it was Geanie (sp?) from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off saying “Bite the Big One Junior” from the opening scene where he’s lying in bed pretending to be dying. So I called in and I actually got through to Frank the Video Store Guy (who is actually Jason “Danger” Barr) and, sure enough, I was right. I owe it all to my fine love of fine flicks.

Unfortunately the tickets are to Supergrass at the CoolHaus who I can’t even remember a song from, but would be okay to go to. And to the Watershed Festival in Walkerton this summer. They’re valued at $176 each (according to Ticketmaster) which is a great deal, but Walkerton’s not a close drive, and Travis Tritt is going to be there. Not my style. I’m going to see if I can’t get them to give me something else while I’m down there. I’ll do some bargaining.
