     I have been enlightened. A while ago on the radio, I heard this guy complain about how his windshield washer holder in his car was less than the 4 litre jug that they sell and he thought that that was stupid. Stupidly, I agreed. Today I heard someone else reply to that man though. So this is how it works. The reason that you have that little bit left over (that’s just too much to throw out) is that you now have a spare 100 ml or so of winshield washer fluid when you run dry. Also, now that you’ve pulled your car off to the side of the road to top it up, you’re going to remember the next time you fill up to grab more washer fluid, because pulling over to fill it up again was annoying. Method to the madness.
