I just re-arranged some things on the site, so that it can be betterly found in your favorite search engine. The news page now is based on an error 404 which bounces you back to the correct script, but that means that when this site get’s spidered, it will correctly pick up the date that the article has been posted rather than the page which it was on before I posted things. Aha! I’ve got it! Well, someone else had it, it just took me a while to find it. I found this program called Fwink which is an opensource webcam thing. Sends the file to FTP site, or saves to a file locally. So I save it to a file locally on the PC and then ran Apache 2.0.48 on the box to serve out the image, and the camera is back in business, and can’t be shut down. Excellent.
