I was just playing with my webmail client and it kinda works in lynx. Colour me impressed.

I got a new hard disk last week and I’m working on getting FreeBSD running with X so I can use it as my desktop operating system. Working on downloading updates and stuff is pretty brutal on the dialup connection though. It also took me a while and a half to figure out how to get the nVidia drivers running properly. Since it’s a Sony laptop, (PCG-GRT100) I can’t simply disable the PNP-OS in the BIOS, there’s no setting for it, so I had to add hints.device.nvidia.0.irq=”16″ in /boot/device.hints so that FreeBSD gives the nvidia card the same IRQ as windows does (which works there), pretty funkly.
