While Sony’s live technical support is highly lacking. (Asking you the same questions over and over, incredibly slowly.) Their phone service improves slightly with a “It’s just broken, take it in.” Their repair service is awesome. My Clié UX50 had a wireless issue where the wireless light just blinked and it crashed the PDA. They update the status every step of the way and one week and one day after dropping it off, my unit is back where it should be. Now, I can be organized again. Heh. Unit.
