The doctor said I wouldn’t have so many nose bleeds if I just kept my finger outta there… Actually, he said that my achilles tendon would get better if I sayed off the treadmill and used the bike or eliptical (or epileptical as I like to call it) machine. Also no longish walks. 🙁 I hate it when stuff sucks.
Tip for FreeBSD users: If you’re installing a port you’ve never installed before, sometimes it’s helpful to not make clean right away, because the original sources are there with READMEs, INSTALLs and whatever you need to configure what you just installed.
What a weekend of updating machines. I’ve rebuilt the machine that this site’s served by twice. Now it’s running a P4 3.2EGHz 800MHz w/ 1MB cache processor with 1GB of RAM and a 36.7GB 10000rpm SATA drive running the OS. I haven’t done any speed tests, but it’s pretty quick. Having NFS is a godsend. Without it, there would be lots of data lost frequently.
I dropped the handset on one of my SPA-841 phones today and then I thought I broke it for good, but it was just a single speaker connection that came undone. I like simple things to break, especially when I can fix them myself. When I was looking for my soldering iron, I found my missing barbque lighter. That’s a good thing too because I was getting low on Lelly’s matches.
