Pi Day

It’s not March 14th but today is Pi day for me. Building a wallboard/sales scoreboard that runs in a stripped down X session on Raspberry Pis and today is the installation day.

It shows all current sales data for the sales team, current status of their phone system including who is on the phone, how many calls have been made and how many callers are in each of the queues. It also shows productivity of the technician team, how many jobs they’ve done and how much of their weight they’re throwing around.

It’s like an extra manager in the building that doesn’t call inane meetings all the time, just shows you the details of your day/week/month and how much higher you should be pulling up your pants.
